Teach Us to Reflect the Grace of Christ — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You for the wonder of John 1:14—that the Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us, full of grace and truth. We ask that this truth shape the way we love within our marriage. As Christ came near to us, help us draw near to one another with that same spirit of grace and gentleness.
Teach us to reflect the compassion Christ showed when He walked among us. When emotions are fragile or misunderstandings arise, help us to respond with patience rather than frustration, and with kindness rather than retreat. We ask that You help our love be marked by sincerity, humility, and a willingness to serve.
Lord, may the beauty of Christ’s presence guide our words, attitudes, and actions. Fill our home with the warmth that comes from grace-filled living—where truth is spoken gently, forgiveness comes quickly, and love is expressed freely.
We ask that the miracle of Christ dwelling among us remind us that You continue to dwell with us even now. Let that truth steady our hearts, strengthen our marriage, and inspire us to love one another with the same grace You first showed us.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
