Teach Us to See Each Other With Spiritual Clarity — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You for creating each of us with purpose, intention, and dignity. We ask that You teach us to see each other with spiritual clarity. Remove the filters of frustration, familiarity, or assumption, and help us see the work You are doing in our spouse’s life.
Teach us to look past moments of weakness and notice the growth taking place beneath the surface. Help us recognize the burdens they carry, the prayers they whisper, and the grace You are forming within them. We ask that You give us insight that leads to compassion rather than criticism, and understanding that strengthens rather than weakens our connection.
Lord, help us see not only who our spouse is today, but who You are shaping them to become. Let this perspective soften our hearts, transform our responses, and deepen our respect for one another.
We ask that You grant us eyes that see through the lens of Your love—recognizing the value, the potential, and the dignity You have placed in the one we share life with. May this clarity draw us closer and help us love with greater intention.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
