In My Father's House
I’m so excited to share my newest Bible study, In My Father’s House.
This 10-chapter study begins July 14th, and invites women to see the beautiful work God is doing in His people as He gathers, shapes, strengthens, and prepares us for the eternal home He has promised. Through Scripture, we’ll look at Christ as the Cornerstone, believers as living stones, and the Holy Spirit as the One patiently forming our hearts according to the Father’s faithful plan.

Teach Us to Treasure the Ordinary — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
So much of life is lived in ordinary moments. Washing dishes. Folding laundry. Driving to work. Sitting across the table at the end of a long day. It’s easy to think that love is built in the big moments, but so often it’s the ordinary ones that quietly shape a marriage over time.
Father, don’t let us miss them.
Help us see the beauty You’ve tucked into everyday life. Open our eyes to the blessing of familiar routines and faithful love. Teach us to appreciate the conversation before bedtime, the smile across the kitchen, the hand that reaches for ours, and the simple comfort of walking through another day together.
When we’re tempted to hurry through today while looking ahead to tomorrow, remind us that this day is Your gift. Help us be fully present with one another. May we not become so busy building a life that we forget to enjoy the life we’re building.
Lord, thank You for the ordinary ways You care for us. Thank You for the quiet work You’re doing in our hearts and in our marriage, even when we can’t always see it. Teach us to treasure these moments, because one day we’ll look back and realize they were never ordinary at all—they were the days You were faithfully writing our story.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
