Teach Us to Walk With Wisdom — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You for the wisdom You make available to all who seek You. We ask that You teach us to walk with wisdom in our marriage. When emotions rise or decisions feel unclear, guide our thoughts so they are shaped by Your truth rather than by impulse or fear.
Help us recognize the moments that call for quiet patience, and the moments that call for gentle action. We ask that You help us listen more carefully—to You and to one another—so our choices reflect humility and understanding.
Lord, keep us from relying solely on our own insight. Remind us that true wisdom begins with reverence for You and grows as we surrender our assumptions and desires to Your leading. Let Your Word guide how we speak, how we respond, and how we navigate challenges together.
We ask that our marriage be strengthened through this wisdom: unity formed by discernment, peace shaped by truth, and love deepened by the clarity You provide. Teach us to walk wisely, Father, so our steps honor You.
