Over the course of four weeks beginning Tuesday, February 20th, join me as we explore the profound significance of the unknown kinsman, uncover the rich symbolism of his shoe, and connect the dots to the Ten Commandments.

We’ll look back at the lives of Biblical characters like Lot, Perez, Judah, and Tamar, seeking to understand their roles in God’s story. Questions like ‘Where does Naomi fit into all this?’ and ‘Why is the timing of these events so crucial?’ will guide our exploration, as we uncover the beauty and depth of these Biblical narratives.

Karissa is also back to bless us each week with her insightful videos. If you would like more information on our study, visit our website.

The Abundance We Choose To Give –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Lord, we ask that You nurture within us a deep sense of gratitude for the gift of each other. Help us to see beyond our own needs and desires, to prioritize the well-being and happiness of our spouse above our own. May our love be marked not by what we seek to receive, but by the abundance we choose to give.

Inspire us to serve one another with a kindness that does not keep score, a patience that knows no bounds, and a generosity that delights in the happiness of the other. May it be a testament to Your grace at work within us.

Grant us the wisdom to recognize the many ways we can give of ourselves — through our time, our attention, our understanding, and our support.

Strengthen us, O Lord, that we might stand as a beacon of Your love and faithfulness. Through our example, let others see the beauty of a love that delights in giving, that builds up rather than seeks its own, and that mirrors the selfless love of Christ.

We thank You, Father, for the gift of marriage and the opportunity it presents to grow in love, humility, and generosity. May we always glorify You, as we strive to give more than we are given, loving as You have loved us.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. – Philippians 2:3-4, KJV

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. – Philippians 2:3-4, NIV
