The Beginning Of Wisdom –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we come before You, we humbly ask that You soften our hearts so that we may grow in Your wisdom and walk in Your truth. We ask that You help us to be gentle and understanding, eager to learn from You and from each other.

Guide us, O Lord, to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. May our conversations be seasoned with grace, our thoughts rooted in love, and our actions reflective of Your compassion.

In all things, may we turn to You, seeking the wisdom that comes from above—pure, peace-loving, considerate, and full of mercy. May this divine wisdom guide our decisions, our dreams, and our direction.

Guide us to hold Your name in the highest honor, knowing that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). Bless us with the courage to face our shortcomings and the strength to change, knowing that in our journey towards wisdom, we are never alone. Your spirit guides us, Your love surrounds us, and Your grace is sufficient for every step we take.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
