The Gift of Friendship – Today’s
Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you for the gift of friendship and for the people who bring joy and support into our lives. We ask for your guidance and wisdom as we navigate the ups and downs of relationships, and help us to be the best friends we can be.

Give us the strength to forgive and to seek forgiveness if we have hurt those we care about. Help us to listen and to offer words of comfort and encouragement when our friends are in need. Like our marriage, may our friendships be a reflection of your love and grace, and may we support and uplift one another along the journey of life.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. – John 15:12-13, KJV
