This new study will continue until August 20th. If you would like to join us, I encourage you to pick up a copy of the journal on Amazon. As we go through Jacob’s life story, chapter by chapter, we’ll see God’s plan of salvation, Christ’s work on the cross, and lessons rich in life application.
Karissa is back to bless us with her insightful videos. Together, we’re taking a deep dive into God’s Word and fostering an even closer fellowship among us all. If you’re not already taking part, I do hope you’ll consider joining us!

The High Calling In Christ –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
You have called us with the high calling in Christ Jesus. To no longer be infants in our faith, but to reach forward. To be mature, forgiving, and unwavering. A call to eternal life.
We’re reminded in Your word that a strand of three cords is not quickly broken. We desire that strength in our marriage, and we know that nothing in this world can separate us when our lives are entwined in Your will.
What a privilege it is to be on this journey together. Help us to be an encouragement to one another, to stay focussed on You, and not distracted by the things of this world, but to turn away from them. May we continue in Your Word, and uphold one another in prayer.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. – Philippians 3:13-15, KJV

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. – Philippians 3:13-15, NIV
