This new study will continue until August 20th. If you would like to join us, I encourage you to pick up a copy of the journal on Amazon. As we go through Jacob’s life story, chapter by chapter, we’ll see God’s plan of salvation, Christ’s work on the cross, and lessons rich in life application.
Karissa will be back to bless us with her insightful videos. Together, we look forward to a deep dive into God’s Word and fostering an even closer fellowship among us all. Your participation is the heartbeat of this group, and I can’t wait to see how God uses our collective thirst for wisdom to draw us nearer to Him and to one another.

The One Who Makes It All Possible –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
When we face difficult circumstances in life, it can be tempting to give up or to lash out in frustration. But as followers of Christ, we are called to a higher standard. We are called to endure patiently, even in the face of suffering and persecution.
It can be easy to feel like we are alone in our struggles, but the truth is that You are always with us. You see our pain, and You are working behind the scenes to bring about good in our lives. When we face trials, we know that we can trust that You have a purpose for our suffering and that You will use it to mold us into the couple You want us to be.
Help us not lose heart when we face trials, but to instead trust in Your unfailing love and Your perfect plan for our lives. Help us endure patiently, knowing that the trials we face today will one day be nothing compared to the joy we will experience in eternity. May we be known not for our ability to endure suffering, but for our faith in the One who makes it all possible.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse
For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. – 1 Peter 2:20, KJV

But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. – 1 Peter 2:20, NIV
