Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We know that we came into this world with nothing and will leave in the same way. Everything we have—our health, our home, our family, our marriage, the clothes we wear, and the food we eat—comes from Your hand. We are grateful for Your abundant blessings.
Lord, teach us to give freely and generously, with hearts unaffected by the pull of greed or covetousness. Instill in us the pure joy that comes from selfless giving. May we grow ever closer to the example of Christ, who came to serve and humbled Himself among us. Let us see that there is deep blessing in giving more than we receive, in considering the needs of others above our own.
Help us to understand what it means to serve one another in love. Show us how to humbly put aside our own desires, supporting each other with patience, kindness, and grace. May our marriage be a reflection of Your love and a testimony to the beauty of sacrificial service.
Open our eyes to the opportunities around us to serve those in need. Teach us to approach each act of service with gladness and joy, knowing that in serving others, we honor You. Let us be a source of encouragement and comfort to one another, building a home centered on faith and a marriage rooted in Your love.
