Marriage Prayers,  The Potential For Real Danger

The Potential For Danger – Today’s Marriage Prayer

Join Our Upcoming Bible Study

Get ready to join us for our next Bible study:
Jonah: The Inescapable Love of God.

This new study will kick off on October 9th and will continue for five weeks. To prepare your hearts, I encourage you to pick up a copy of the journal on Amazon. It’s a story that will challenge us to face our own reluctances and embrace the overwhelming, relentless love God has for each and every one of us.

Karissa will be back to bless us with her insightful videos. Together, we look forward to a deep dive into God’s Word and fostering an even closer fellowship among us all. Your participation has been the heartbeat of this group, and I can’t wait to see how God uses our collective thirst for wisdom to draw us nearer to Him and to one another.

The Potential For Real Danger –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Electronic devices are everywhere. Because of them, we are able to share the gospel from our own homes, study Your Word more effectively, and stay connected to family and friends like never before. Thank you, Lord, for the benefits that technology has brought.

But just as there are benefits, there is also the potential for real danger. If we are not vigilant, and let our guard down for even a moment, we can be exposed to a world of temptation. Lord, we ask for discernment and that You would strengthen and protect us from anything that brings a message contrary to Your truth.

We’ve heard about marriages breaking down because people were tempted, drawn away, and overcome. Teach us to use technology wisely, to be good stewards of these gifts, to use them with moderation, and to exercise self-control in all things. Please help us to draw healthy boundaries.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the Lord, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? – Isaiah 29:15, KJV

Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their work in darkness and think, “Who sees us? Who will know?” – Isaiah 29:15, NIV
