Those Who Have the Desire to be Married –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come to you today for those who have the desire to be married. May they remain patient and faithful as they wait for the one with whom they may share their lives. Help them to trust in your perfect timing and your plan for their lives.

Father, help them to prepare their hearts for marriage — to grow in love, patience, kindness, and selflessness. Help them to recognize the person who is right for them and to be careful to build a relationship that is founded on your love and your will. Give them discernment and peace in making decisions about their future.

We know that marriage is not always easy, and it requires hard work, sacrifice, and commitment. Please help them to be prepared for the challenges that may come, and to trust in your grace and guidance in all things.

Thank you for your love, your provision, and your faithfulness, and we pray that you would bless those with the desire to marry with the gift of marriage if it is your will for their life.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
