To Anchor Our Lives In Your Truth –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today as a couple that is united, seeking Your guidance and wisdom in anchoring our lives in Your truth. In a world that seems to drift like a ship without a compass, being anchored in Your truth keeps us safe amidst the storms and uncertainties of life.

We’ll never do everything right. In fact, we’ll do a lot of things wrong, which is why we need to show patience and kindness to others as we grow together in Christ-likeness. May life-giving words take the place of fault-finding thoughts.

Help us to let go of any unforgiveness and unrealistic expectations of others that may be weighing us down — and teach us to live in the truth. Your Word is truth.

Strengthen our marriage, Lord, as we seek to build a home that honors You, a sanctuary where Your truth reigns.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
