Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Finances are often a significant source of tension in marriages. The weight of debt and financial disagreements can create a strain that seems unbearable. Yet, through faith and perseverance, these challenges can also forge a stronger bond between a husband and wife.
Lord, we are committed to fighting for our marriage. We want to navigate these difficult times together, using wisdom to manage the resources You have entrusted to us. Help us to find joy in what we have, whether it is plentiful or scarce.
If we find ourselves in poverty, remind us of the vows we made to each other—to stand by one another through all circumstances, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer. Let our commitment to each other and to You remain unshaken.
Should we be blessed with abundance, guide us to use it wisely for Your glory and honor. Teach us to be generous and mindful stewards of Your blessings, always seeking ways to serve others and further Your kingdom.
Let our hearts be filled with gratitude and our spirits be uplifted, knowing that our worth is not measured by our wealth, but by Your love and grace.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
