To Cherish The Gift Of Friendship – Today’s Marriage Prayer
Join Our Current Bible Study
Ruth: Echoes of Christ, Our Kinsman Redeemer
Over the course of four weeks beginning Tuesday, February 20th, join me as we explore the profound significance of the unknown kinsman, uncover the rich symbolism of his shoe, and connect the dots to the Ten Commandments.
We’ll look back at the lives of Biblical characters like Lot, Perez, Judah, and Tamar, seeking to understand their roles in God’s story. Questions like ‘Where does Naomi fit into all this?’ and ‘Why is the timing of these events so crucial?’ will guide our exploration, as we uncover the beauty and depth of these Biblical narratives.
Karissa is also back to bless us each week with her insightful videos. If you would like more information on our study, visit our website.

To Cherish The Gift Of Friendship –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to celebrate and cherish the gift of friendship within marriage. Lord, You designed companionship to mirror Your love for us — unfailing, gracious, and deeply connected. Help us to remember that our spouse is not just our partner but also our friend, handpicked by You to walk through life’s highs and lows together.
Guide us to foster this friendship daily, to prioritize it amidst the distractions of life. May we always find joy in the simple moments shared, laughter in the midst of challenges, and comfort in each other’s presence. Teach us to communicate with the openness and honesty that deep friendship requires, to listen with empathy, and to speak with love.
Remind us, Lord, that as friends, we are to uplift one another, encourage each other towards Your will, and support each other’s dreams and spiritual growth. Let us never take for granted this friendship You have gifted us within our marriage. Help us to continuously work on it, to nurture it, and to allow it to flourish under Your guidance.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. – James 1:2-4, KJV
__________________________
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. – James 1:2-4, NIV
