Our Next Study Starts Soon!

I’m excited to share that our next Bible study, Discovering Joy: Not Because Life is Perfect, but Because God is Faithful, begins Tuesday February 11th.
This interactive devotional is designed to help us uncover joy, not the fleeting kind that shifts with the winds of change, but a steadfast joy rooted in the faithfulness of God and held steady by His unchanging love.
Each chapter offers a short devotional to encourage your heart, a reading prompt to guide your study, and verse maps—a unique way to help you dig deeper into Scripture. You’ll also find moments of gratitude, practical ways to cultivate joy, and inspiring stories that remind us of God’s goodness.
Each week we’ll cover three chapters of the book, for a total of five weeks.

To Choose Love Over Pride –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We know that pride can so easily take root in our hearts, causing division, stubbornness, and distance between us. But, Lord, You call us to something greater—to a love that is patient, kind, and humble.
Help us to choose love over pride in the small moments and the big ones. When we are tempted to defend ourselves rather than listen, we ask that You soften our hearts. When we want to prove a point instead of seeking peace, remind us that humility brings wisdom. Teach us to be quick to forgive, slow to anger, and always ready to extend grace, just as You have done for us.
May our marriage reflect the beauty of selfless love, where we lift each other up rather than tear each other down. Give us the strength to let go of pride, the courage to say, “I’m sorry,” and the wisdom to cherish one another above being right.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. – Ephesians 4:2, (NIV)
