Jacob: Pursuing God With Steadfast Faith & Unyielding Courage

This new study will kick off on June 4th and will continue for 11 weeks. To prepare your hearts, I encourage you to pick up a copy of the journal on Amazon. As we go through Jacob’s life story, chapter by chapter, we’ll see God’s plan of salvation, Christ’s work on the cross, and lessons rich in life application.

Karissa will be back to bless us with her insightful videos. Together, we look forward to a deep dive into God’s Word and fostering an even closer fellowship among us all. Your participation is the heartbeat of this group, and I can’t wait to see how God uses our collective thirst for wisdom to draw us nearer to Him and to one another.

To Delight In Your Word

To Delight In Your Word –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today with grateful hearts, thanking you for the gift of marriage. We ask that You bless our marriage, and help us to live according to Your word. May we always seek your guidance and wisdom in our daily lives, and may we be rooted and grounded in your truth.

We pray that we will not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners. Instead, may we be like trees planted by streams of water, bearing fruit in its season and flourishing in your love.

May our love for one another be a reflection of your love for us, dear Lord. May we always be quick to forgive, slow to anger, and eager to show kindness and compassion to one another.

As we journey through life together, we pray that our marriage will be a source of joy, peace, and strength. May we grow closer to you and to each other with each passing day.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. – Psalm 1:1-2, KJV

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. – Psalm 1:1-2, NIV
