To Guard Our Marriage With Vigilance –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We’re so grateful for the love we share, the memories we’ve built, and the promises we’ve made. But Lord, we confess how easy it is to let the busyness of life creep in and take our focus off the beautiful gift You’ve given us in each other.

Help us, Lord, to guard our marriage with vigilance. Teach us to recognize the little ways we may take each other for granted and to respond with love, kindness, and gratitude. Show us how to prioritize our relationship amidst the demands of everyday life and to make time to nurture the bond we share.

Renew our hearts with a commitment to cherish and honor one another. Help us to see each other through Your eyes, remembering that we are each a precious child of Yours. Inspire us to speak words that build up and to show affection that reassures and strengthens.

When we feel distant or distracted, draw us back to You and to each other. Give us wisdom to see where we’ve let neglect slip in, and courage to make the changes needed to grow closer. Lord, let our marriage be a reflection of Your steadfast love—a love that is intentional, sacrificial, and unwavering.

Thank You for being our guide and our anchor. We place our marriage in Your hands, trusting You to sustain and bless it as we faithfully care for the gift we’ve been given.
