To Learn From Our Struggles – Today’s Marriage Prayer

We Are Currently Underway On Our New Study:
Jacob: Pursuing God With Steadfast Faith & Unyielding Courage

This new study will continue until August 20th. If you would like to join us, I encourage you to pick up a copy of the journal on Amazon. As we go through Jacob’s life story, chapter by chapter, we’ll see God’s plan of salvation, Christ’s work on the cross, and lessons rich in life application.

Karissa is back to bless us with her insightful videos. Together, we’re taking a deep dive into God’s Word and fostering an even closer fellowship among us all. If you’re not already taking part, I do hope you’ll consider joining us!

To Learn From Our Struggles –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Marriage is a gift. Thank you for our marriage, and thank you for the friend we’ve found in each other. Help us to remember the team that we are, and the vision You have for us.

Although growing together is not always easy, it is rewarding. Some days are harder than others, but even so, those days are important. We have much to learn from our struggles. They teach us to grow, they help us to blend, they strengthen our bond.

We need to hash out the tough stuff, with open communication, and at the same time be mature enough to listen, and have control over our tongue.

Give us the ability to do that, Lord. To grow to maturity, loving one another, walking in Your perfect will.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility. He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him. – Proverbs 18:12-13, KJV

Before a downfall the heart is haughty, but humility comes before honor. To answer before listening—that is folly and shame. – Proverbs 18:12-13, NIV
