Prepare Him Room: 28 Ways to Embrace the Spirit of Christmas

Hey, ladies! I’d love to invite you to join our upcoming Advent series, Prepare Him Room: 28 Ways to Embrace the Spirit of Christmas. Unlike our usual Bible studies, this one is more of a devotional style that encourages you to slow down and make space for what matters most—Jesus. Each day offers inspiring stories, scripture readings, simple challenges, and questions designed to draw you closer to Christ.

Over the course of four weeks, we’ll go through the book together beginning November 26th. Once again, we will have weekly videos, and printable chapters.

Take a moment amidst the holiday hustle to focus on His presence. Discover practical ways to reflect Christ’s love in your home, relationships, and daily life.

Let’s make this Christmas a true celebration of our Savior.

To Prioritize Our Relationship

To Prioritize Our Relationship –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with thankful hearts for the gift of marriage and the beautiful way You’ve brought us together as one. We confess that life can pull us in so many different directions, and sometimes we feel like two ships passing in the night, caught up in the busyness of our own schedules. But, Lord, we know that this isn’t how You designed marriage to be. You’ve called us to be united, to share life fully, and to walk hand in hand through every season.

Help us to slow down, Lord, and to truly see one another again. Teach us to prioritize our relationship above the distractions of this world and to treasure the moments You give us to connect—whether big or small. Let us cherish the laughter we share, the deep conversations, and even the quiet moments when no words are needed.

Show us how to live as partners in every sense of the word, not just sharing a house but sharing our hearts, dreams, and burdens. Remind us to come together, to listen with care, and to speak words that draw us closer instead of pulling us apart. Help us to walk through life side by side, not as two individuals, but as one couple united by Your grace.

Lord, bind us together with a love that reflects Your faithfulness. Just as You never leave us or forsake us, help us to stay steadfast in our commitment to one another. May the way we love and support each other be a testimony to the world of what You can do through a marriage rooted in You.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. – Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, (KJV)

__________________________

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. – Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (NIV)
