To Recognize The Difference Between Needs and Wants

The Difference Between Needs and Wants –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We recognize that money can be both a blessing and a challenge, and we humbly ask for Your wisdom to guide us.

Lord, help us to communicate openly and honestly about our spending and saving. May our financial decisions honor You and reflect our faith in Your providence. Align our hearts and minds so that our financial paths may be a shared journey, walking in step with Your perfect will.

Give us discernment, O God, to recognize the difference between needs and wants, to practice self-control, and to prioritize generosity and compassion over worldly gain. Let us be stewards of the resources You’ve entrusted to us, using them to bless others and to grow together in faith.

Teach us to trust each other and You, Lord, as we seek to build a life that honors our commitments to one another and our desire to serve You. May our financial unity be a symbol of the deeper unity we share in You, a unity that binds us in love, respect, and grace.

We ask that You guide us in our decisions and fill our hearts with a spirit of contentment and gratitude.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
