To Release The Hurts We’ve Held Onto – Today’s Marriage Prayer
Our Next Study Starts Soon!
Ladies… I’m sure 99% of you are far more tech savvy than me (if that’s you, go ahead and skip to the next paragraph) but for the one percent out there who gets lost in this world wide web of confusion, I have a little tip for you… if you have trouble opening links on mobile, simply hold your finger down for a second and choose “open” from the pop up menu. And now, without further ado…
I’m excited to share that our next Bible study, Discovering Joy: Not Because Life is Perfect, but Because God is Faithful, begins Tuesday February 11th.
This interactive devotional is designed to help us uncover joy, not the fleeting kind that shifts with the winds of change, but a steadfast joy rooted in the faithfulness of God and held steady by His unchanging love.
Each chapter offers a short devotional to encourage your heart, a reading prompt to guide your study, and verse maps—a unique way to help you dig deeper into Scripture. You’ll also find moments of gratitude, practical ways to cultivate joy, and inspiring stories that remind us of God’s goodness.
Each week we’ll cover three chapters of the book, for a total of five weeks.

To Release The Hurts We’ve Held Onto –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
You see every corner of our lives—the joys we celebrate and the wounds we carry. You know the burdens of our past, the mistakes we’ve made, and the pain that still lingers. Today, we ask for Your love to cover us and Your grace to restore us.
Help us to release the hurts we’ve held onto, both in our own hearts and in our marriage. Teach us to forgive as You have forgiven us, letting go of bitterness and regret so we can walk in freedom and peace. If there are sins from our past that weigh heavily on us, remind us that You have removed them as far as the east is from the west. Let us trust fully in the power of the cross, knowing that Your mercy is new every morning.
Father, where there are wounds, we ask that You bring healing. Where there is brokenness, we ask that You bring restoration. Knit our hearts together in unity and remind us that we are not defined by our past, but who we are in Christ. Give us the courage to be vulnerable with one another and the wisdom to encourage each other toward healing. May our marriage reflect the beauty of Your redemption, and may we honor You in the way we love and support one another.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
