Hey, ladies! I’d love to invite you to join our upcoming Advent series, Prepare Him Room: 28 Ways to Embrace the Spirit of Christmas. Unlike our usual Bible studies, this one is more of a devotional style that encourages you to slow down and make space for what matters most—Jesus. Each day offers inspiring stories, scripture readings, simple challenges, and questions designed to draw you closer to Christ.
Over the course of four weeks, we’ll go through the book together beginning November 26th. Once again, we will have weekly videos, and printable chapters.
Take a moment amidst the holiday hustle to focus on His presence. Discover practical ways to reflect Christ’s love in your home, relationships, and daily life.
Let’s make this Christmas a true celebration of our Savior.

To Resist The Pull Of Pride –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You recognizing that pride can too easily take root in our hearts, especially when we feel hurt, misunderstood, or angry. In these moments, the temptation to react impulsively is strong, and patience can feel distant. We acknowledge our need for Your divine help, Lord. Grant us the strength to resist the pull of pride and to approach one another with humility, even when it is most difficult.
We ask for Your wisdom to fill our minds and guide our speech. Help us to choose our words with care and intention, words that build up rather than tear down. May we listen to each other with open hearts, filled with compassion and kindness, understanding that true communication begins not just with speaking but with genuine listening.
When anxiety, frustration, or discouragement creep into our days, remind us to seek You first, turning our worries and burdens over to You in prayer. Teach us to rely on Your peace that surpasses all understanding, finding comfort and strength in Your presence.
Lord, shape us into individuals with gentle and patient spirits. Help us to be slow to anger, ready to bear with one another in love, and in every way reflecting Your grace. Let our marriage be marked by kindness, forgiveness, and a willingness to put each other’s needs above our own. May the way we live and love stand as a testament to Your transformative power, standing apart from the world’s standards and pointing others toward unity, peace, and truth.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
