Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Help us to be wise stewards of all you have provided — to always be content with much or with little. May we enjoy the fruit of our labor in moderation, and peace. Teach us to be responsible, and to only act in ways that are pleasing to You.
It’s possible to become frustrated with one another in stressful situations, to point fingers and lay blame on each other, and so we ask that you give us eyes to see each situation as You do, as well as a heart of understanding and grace.
Help us to joyfully give and receive, knowing that all that we have and all we are is from You, and is Yours.
Once again, we vow to love for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, standing firm on this promise we’ve made. Sticking together through the toughest of times, while looking to You to provide.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
