To See Us Through –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We ask that You give us the wisdom to honor each other in all that we do — the words we say, the actions we take, and even the thoughts that we entertain. Help us keep our eyes fixed on You, Lord because we know that when we honor each other, we are also honoring You.

There’s stress and there’s strain, and some days there’s more heartache than we imagined there would be, but we’re in this together, and we’re not letting go.

Love is beautiful, but it’s messy at times, and so we’re asking for Your wisdom and strength to deal with every situation that arises — to see us through to the end. Let kindness guide our words and compassion govern our actions. When disagreements arise, remind us of our devotion to each other, a commitment that mirrors Your own steadfast love for us.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
