To Swallow Our Pride – Today’s
Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the countless times You have patiently offered us an abundance of grace. Please help us always to choose truth even when there is an easier way out. May we always come to You in prayer when we’re feeling weak.
May our first response be one of patience and kindness when we’re angry. Please help us to walk in humility when we sometimes want to hold on to our pride.
Teach us how to be a couple that loves at all times. Not just when it’s easy or when it serves us, but also in difficult times when it may be tough to swallow our pride.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
