To Turn To You In Thanks –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We ask that You help us, Lord, to see each circumstance as an opportunity to grow, to lean on each other, and most importantly, to lean on You. May our struggles remind us of our need for Your grace. May our victories be a testament to Your provision. In times of joy and sorrow, of challenge and comfort, may our hearts always turn to You in thanks.

We thank You for Your Son — for the plan of salvation that You set in place before the creation of the world. We thank You for the gift of Your Spirit, — that we may live by faith and may be moved by the good works of love.

Thank You for the beautiful gift of marriage — that we are united as one in one hope and in one faith.

We ask that You speak to us, and teach us, Lord. Strengthen us through prayer. Show us what it means to walk a life of love and thankfulness in a world that’s unthankful.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
