Marriage Prayer – For Peace in Our Marriage
Dear Heavenly Father,
We pray that you will give us peace in our marriage. Peace through the difficult situations we face. Peace over financial difficulties, and peace between one another.
Give us a peace that passes all understanding, Lord. Help us to rest in your will whether we understand it or not, trusting that You’ll guide the way.
Help us to communicate well, with a heart of understanding and grace–forgiving, forbearing, long-suffering, and kind.
Remind us to seek peace and pursue it, striving to put you first in our marriage as we lay down our lives and pick up our cross.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
