Trusting the Lord With Our Future — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Your Word calls us to trust in You with all our hearts and not lean on our own understanding. Today we bring our marriage before You with that same trust.
There are many things ahead we cannot see—decisions to make, seasons we will walk through, and moments that will stretch our faith. Yet we take comfort knowing that nothing about our future is hidden from You.
Teach us to trust You together. When we face uncertainty, steady our hearts. When our plans feel unclear, remind us that Your wisdom is greater than our own. Help us seek Your direction before we move forward.
Lord, guard us from relying only on our own judgment. When we feel confident in our ideas, keep us humble. When we feel unsure, give us courage to wait on You.
In all our ways, help us acknowledge You— in our conversations, our plans, our finances, and the daily decisions that shape our life together. Let our marriage be guided by Your truth and strengthened by our dependence on You.
Father, direct our path as a couple. Lead us where we should go, close doors that should remain closed, and open the ones that align with Your will.
We place our future in Your hands, trusting that Your guidance will never fail us.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
