What Comes Our Way –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

May we learn to rejoice in You at all times, regardless of what comes our way, whether good times or difficult, may we always have joy.

Whether we have much or little, may we give thanks to You with all our hearts. If we are holding on too tightly to the things of this world, we ask that You help loosen our grip and regain our focus.

If things don’t go our way, remind us to delight in Your will. If our own plans come to nothing, may we always be ready and willing to follow Your lead — waiting for Your perfect timing.

Our lives are in Your hands, Lord. Shape us according to Your perfect plan.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
