I’d love to invite you to join our upcoming Advent series beginning November 25, The Four Gifts: Discover the Beauty of Christmas Wrapped Up in God’s Love.

Unlike our usual Bible studies, our Christmas series is more of a devotional style that encourages you to slow down and spend quiet time with the Lord. Each day offers inspiring stories, Scripture readings, simple challenges, and questions designed to draw you closer to Christ while reminding you how deeply you’re loved.

Take a moment amidst the holiday hustle to unwrap God’s faithful, sacrificial, transforming, and eternal love.

Let’s make this Christmas a true celebration of our Savior—and if you know someone who could use a reminder of how deeply God loves them, invite them to join us. It might be just the encouragement their heart needs this season.

When we all need renewal

When We Need Renewal - Today's Marriage Prayer

Dear heavenly Father,

We thank You for Your mercy that meets us anew each morning. We ask that You renew our hearts and our marriage when weariness begins to settle in. Teach us to rest in Your presence when the pace of life drains our strength and when discouragement dulls our joy.

When we feel distant or distracted, draw us back to what matters most—to You, and to the love You’ve entrusted us to nurture. We ask that You breathe new life into the places that feel tired and remind us that every season can be fruitful when You are at the center.

Lord, may renewal come not from striving, but from surrender—from taking time to pray, to listen, and to simply be still before You. Restore our patience where it’s worn thin, our laughter where it’s grown quiet, and our hope where it’s been shaken.

We ask that You fill our home with Your peace and refresh our love until it overflows again with grace and gratitude. May our marriage reflect the steadfast renewal found only in You.

In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. —Isaiah 40:31, KJV

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31, NIV
