Wisdom Which Comes From Your Spirit –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come to You today to seek a deep and abiding love for learning Your Word. We ask for a thirst for knowledge that enriches our faith and fortifies the bond between us. Open our hearts to the treasures within Your scriptures, allowing them to be a source of wisdom and direction in our lives.
Lead us, O Lord, in our study of the Bible. Let its truths resonate in our hearts and appear outwardly in our actions. May Your Word shine like a beacon on our path, influencing our choices and guiding our every step. Help us to support one another in this pursuit, sharing our discoveries and growing in both understanding and love.
In moments where the scripture challenges or puzzles us, let us resist seeking man’s wisdom, and instead, may we prayerfully seek true wisdom that comes from Your Spirit. Grant us the patience to wait on You.
Through our devotion to learning Your Word, may our marriage be a reflection of Your enduring love and faithfulness.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. – 2 Timothy 3:16-17, NIV
