Quieting Your Heart – Advent Devotional Bible Study
Over the course of four weeks beginning Tuesday, November 28th, and leading up to Christmas, join me as we journey together through the rich biblical themes of Love, Joy, Hope, and Peace. Each day is a refreshing look at scripture, shedding light on timeless stories ranging from Jacob and Rachel’s enduring love to the inspiring resilience of Paul and Silas.
This advent-devotional Bible study is an invitation to rediscover the profound love of God, revealed in the humble birth of our Savior.
Karissa is also back to bless us each week with her insightful videos. If you would like more information on our study, visit our website.

Words Hold Great Power –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Words hold great power. They can be used as a means of grace — to build up and encourage, but they can also be used to tear down and destroy. We ask, Lord, that You guard our tongues when we are tempted to speak in haste or in hurt. May our words be a fountain of life, not arrows of harm.
Grant us the wisdom to understand the profound impact of our words. May we speak with love, express our feelings with patience, honesty, and gentleness, and listen with open hearts. May our communication be a bridge that unites, not a barrier that divides.
In moments of disagreement, guide us to speak with the respect and kindness that honors You and each other. Let our words be seasoned with the salt of Your wisdom, bringing out the best in each other.
Help us to use our words to encourage, to build up, and to affirm one another. In moments of joy and in times of trial, let our words reflect the commitment we have made before You, to love and cherish, in all seasons of life.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. – Ephesians 4:29, NIV
