Jonah: The Inescapable Love of God.

This new study will kick off on October 9th and will continue for five weeks. To prepare your hearts, I encourage you to pick up a copy of the journal on Amazon. It’s a story that will challenge us to face our own reluctance and embrace the overwhelming, relentless love God has for each and every one of us.

Karissa will be back to bless us with her insightful videos. Together, we look forward to a deep dive into God’s Word and fostering an even closer fellowship among us all. Your participation has been the heartbeat of this group, and I can’t wait to see how God uses our collective thirst for wisdom to draw us nearer to Him and to one another.

Be Our Comfort and Strength –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Life unfolds in mysterious ways—ways that can be beautiful but also challenging. As we navigate this journey called marriage, the words of Isaiah remind us that we need not walk alone, for You are by our side. Help us to trust in Your divine promise, to lean on Your understanding rather than our own.

We ask that You comfort us when we’re lonely. When we’re feeling empty and we long to be filled, remind us that You are enough.

When we’re missing the ones we have loved and lost, be our comfort and strength through the pain.

When we feel like we’re friendless. When we’re abandoned by the ones that we counted on, help us to see that You’re right here beside us. That you have been, and always will be, a companion and friend.

When we don’t feel accepted, help us to find our acceptance in You. Help us to see that life is fleeting, and that we’re on our way to much better things.

When we don’t feel that we’re loved the way that we should be, remind us of Your incomparable love, and how You loved us before we loved You.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. – Isaiah 41:10, KJV
