May We Value Our Marriage –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

May we value our marriage over getting our own way.

Grant us the ability to break the chains of self-importance and pride, and give us the wisdom, courage, and determination to walk in Your Spirit, especially when our flesh tries to overpower us.

If we should stumble, we pray that You will set us on our feet again. Please give us the strength to continue walking with humility, to confess our sin, and to live and love as we should.

May we take the focus off of ourselves, and live according to Your Word — to not give up any ground in our battles with temptation. May Your name be glorified!

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
