May We Walk This Path Together – Today’s Marriage Prayer

We Are Currently Underway On Our New Study:
Jacob: Pursuing God With Steadfast Faith & Unyielding Courage

This new study will continue until August 20th. If you would like to join us, I encourage you to pick up a copy of the journal on Amazon. As we go through Jacob’s life story, chapter by chapter, we’ll see God’s plan of salvation, Christ’s work on the cross, and lessons rich in life application.

Karissa is back to bless us with her insightful videos. Together, we’re taking a deep dive into God’s Word and fostering an even closer fellowship among us all. If you’re not already taking part, I do hope you’ll consider joining us!

May We Walk This Path Together

May We Walk This Path Together –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We ask that You help us to grow. Help us hold fast to our repentance that we may not fall back into sin. May we walk humbly in Your wisdom and not the wisdom of this world which is foolishness to You. May You keep us safe from those who would try to rob us of Your truth.

Please show us the areas of our lives where we lack. Help us to walk together in faith rather than waiting for motivation to move us. We know by Your word that we should be growing by Your grace, but we sometimes lack courage. Father, may You show us the way and teach us to hold fast to Your truth. May we walk this path together in joy and great peace, upholding one another in love.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. – 2 Peter 1:5-8, KJV

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.

For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. – 2 Peter 1:5-8, NIV
