The Ability To Communicate

The Ability To Communicate –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, united in marriage and seeking Your wisdom and guidance. Lord, You have knit our hearts together in a profound and beautiful way, and we want our words to reflect the love that You have instilled within us.

Father, grant us the ability to communicate feelings of love, compassion, and understanding with clarity and sincerity. Help us to listen intently to each other’s hearts, to speak words that build up and not tear down, and to always seek to understand before seeking to be understood.

In the moments when misunderstandings arise, let Your grace abound in our hearts. May we be quick to forgive, slow to anger, and eager to pursue peace. Guide us in a path that reflects Your love, Your mercy, and Your truth.

May our marriage be a testament to Your goodness and a shining light that draws others closer to You. We trust in Your guidance, Lord, and we commit our marriage into Your loving hands.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
