The Path That is Fully Lit –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for Your mercy and grace. As we move forward to a mature faith, please help us to let go of the things that we need to leave in the past. The things that are a burden too heavy to bear. Those things that needlessly weigh us down.

May we always look with hope to our future and trust You with every tomorrow. We don’t know what the future will bring, but we do know that You’ll be there beside us whatever may come.

Please remind us to pray often, because it is prayer that strengthens us and equips us for our journey. May we not veer to the right or to the left, but keep to the straight path. The path that is fully lit by the light of Your word.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

I am the Lord, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King. Thus saith the Lord, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters; which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow. Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?
