Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We ask that You complete the work You have started in us. Grant us the wisdom to nurture the seeds You have planted, and to weed out the ones that get in the way.
Bring out the best in us. Show us ways to glorify You and to honor our marriage. Help us to be discerning in all things, and to always choose truth over comfort.
We are willing to be made into a vessel of use to You — to be clay in Your hands — ready to be shaped and fashioned according to Your perfect will. Teach us to trust in times of adversity, and to patiently wait as Your purpose unfolds.
Give us the strength to step back, and to hand over the lead — so that we might discover the joy in working beside You.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
