For Continuing Peace In Our Marriage –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We pray for continuing peace in our marriage. Your Word describes peace as wholeness and unity. May we have peace through the difficult situations we face each day.
Give us a peace that passes all understanding, Lord. Help us to rest in your will whether we understand it completely or not — trusting that You’ll guide the way.
Help us to communicate well, with a heart of understanding and grace–forgiving, forbearing, being long-suffering, and kind.
Remind us to seek peace and pursue it, striving to put you first in our marriage as we lay down our lives and pick up our cross.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
