More Time In Your Presence –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Our prayer today is that we would grow closer to you. We ask that You give us a burning desire to spend more time in Your presence. And give us the determination to stay there. Help us to see the importance of prayer, and to make it a priority in our lives.

Give us a hunger for Your Word. Not that we might gain approval of men, but that it would increase our faith — that we would live according to Your will.

We invite You into Our marriage, not as our guest, but as our friend, our companion, Our Lord.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works. – Hebrews 10:22-24, KJV
