Yielding To Your Spirit – Today’s
Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
A negative atmosphere has a way of bringing us down. Insensitive words can make us feel rejected, defeated, and crushed. We want more for our marriage, Lord. We want more for each other. We’re committed to making our marriage work, and we’re committed to yielding to Your Spirit.
Teach us to communicate with compassion and grace. Show us ways to build each other up instead of tearing each other down. Give us the wisdom to hold our tongue when we’re frustrated so that we might speak wisely and well.
Help us to see, and to focus on the best in each other, lifting our spirits with words of kindness and grace.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
